Østerbø Fjellstove camping

We offer camping for tents, motorhomes, and caravans, with the possibility of electricity.

Adjacent to the campsite, there is a sanitary building with showers (payment by card), toilets, a washing machine, and a dishwash room. Our camping guests are welcome to use the lounges and restaurant at the mountain lodge. It is possible to order both breakfast and dinner in our restaurant. Breakfast is served Monday to Saturday from 06am to 10am, and on Sunday from 07:30am to 10am. We also offer à la carte during the day from 12:00 to 5pm (until 4.30pm in high season).

The area offers many opportunities for hiking, fishing, and excursions. We also have a rowboat available for rent for our guests.

Check-in and information are available at the reception inside the mountain lodge. Our kiosk is open during the bus route season. Here you can buy homemade takeaway pizza, soft drinks, baked goods, and ice cream. At the reception, you can order fresh bread/rolls to pick up in the morning, as well as purchase milk and various kiosk items. The nearest grocery store is in Aurland (30 km away).

From 2026 it will be possible to empty grey water and toilets at our site.
We have installed new power pedestals, and electricity is now paid separately directly at the campsite

We do not take reservations for our campsite — only drop-in.

DNT members can receive a discount on our evening dinner, provided a valid membership is shown before payment. The discount only applies to standard dinners and only to those who are members. It does not apply to other meals or special events.
